Lead Pastor
The Man
Charles A. Hall, Jr. did not grow up in church but his family instilled a sense of values and purpose in him starting at an early age. He was saved at the age of six at the Arlington Baptist School and Church. Charles attended and graduated from Franklin Senior High School and matriculated in the Bachelor of Arts in History program at St. Mary’s College of Maryland and the Masters of Theology Program at St. Mary’s Seminary and University. He also attended the Certificate Program for Organizational Change at Towson University.
The Ministry
Charles received and accepted the call to the preaching ministry at the age of 16 years old and preached his initial sermon at the First Mount Olive Freewill Baptist Church. He served as an associate minister and became a member of the Pastoral staff as Youth Pastor in under the leadership Bishop Oscar E. Brown. Committed to working beyond the walls of the church and across denominational lines, he has had the opportunity to serve as the Fellowship Coordinator of the Youth Pastoral Alliance, on the Pastor’s Consortium for Baltimore County in the Reisterstown/Owings Mills area, and on the International Youth Council for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International. Additionally, he served the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship International as the District Overseer of Baltimore, Harford, Howard, Washington, Anne Arundel, and Queen Anne’s counties as well as the Maryland State Director of Protocol.
For the last 16 years, Charles has served in the capacity of Lead Pastor starting in 2005 when he organized Kingdom Harvest Christian Center recently renamed Life Church. As Lead Pastor, he strives to emulate the ministry of Jesus Christ as servant and a consistent display of genuine love.

Charles, along with the leaders and members of Life Church have accepted the mission to empower people to live their best life through studying, implementing and exemplifying the principles taught by Jesus Christ. They are committed to helping people regardless of concerns, issues or ailments find the answers and strategies to live their best life through the all sufficient Christ.
